Holiday magic begins Dec. 4 & Dec. 5
Celebrate the holiday season with the exciting, lavish and professional production of "The Nutcracker" performed by the talented dancers of Stapleton Ballet. This full-length version of Tchaikovsky's holiday fantasy features special effects, wondrous sets and exotic costumes. A holiday favorite, this enchanting ballet begins with a Victorian era family Christmas party and follows Clara, the young daughter, on a dreamy, magical journey to the Land of the Sweets.
The Stapleton Ballet production features over 100 dancers and guest artists; over 135 lavish costumes; magic and special effects of pure enchantment; and includes an authentic period Victorian holiday party scene where 60 feet of red satin ribbon is woven through the partygoers as they dance.
Choreographed by Virginia Stapleton. With special choreography /characterizations for "The Land of the Sweets," by Vassilii Mountian.
